Asahi Group acquires Pilsner Urquell and Tyskie (2017)

Asahi Group completed the acquisition of Pilsner Urquell and Tyskie on 31 March 2017 for €7.3 billion, buying from AB InBev.[1]

Asahi bought SABMiller's central and eastern European businesses from AB InBev, including Pilsner Urquell in the Czech Republic and Tyskie in Poland, in the second and larger tranche of divestitures required to clear the SABMiller merger.
