Coca-Cola acquires Costa Coffee (2019)

Coca-Cola completed the acquisition of Costa Coffee on 3 January 2019 for $4.9 billion, buying from Whitbread.[1]

Coca-Cola bought Costa Coffee from Whitbread, its first move into a large hot drinks platform and its entry into physical coffee retail.
