Lamb Weston and Grown in Idaho separation from Conagra Brands (2016)

Lamb Weston and Grown in Idaho was separated from Conagra Brands as Lamb Weston on 9 November 2016.[1]

Conagra separated its frozen potato business as Lamb Weston, distributing shares to Conagra shareholders. The two businesses had little in common: one supplied restaurants with commodity potato products, the other sold branded food in supermarkets, and each was valued differently by investors.
