About Dom Pérignon

Dom Pérignon is Moët & Chandon's vintage prestige cuvée, first released in 1936 and named after the seventeenth-century Benedictine monk who was cellar master at Hautvillers. He did not invent sparkling champagne, as the legend has it, but he did much to improve blending and clarity.
