Conagra Brands acquires Birds Eye (North America) and 3 other brands (2018)

Conagra Brands completed the acquisition of Birds Eye (North America) and 3 other brands on 26 October 2018 for $10.9 billion, buying from Pinnacle Foods.[1]

Conagra acquired Pinnacle Foods in a cash and stock deal, adding Birds Eye, Duncan Hines and Vlasic. Conagra sold its Wesson oil brand to satisfy competition concerns, and Pinnacle had been an acquisition target for several years before the deal closed.
