About Grand Marnier

Grand Marnier is an orange liqueur made by blending bitter orange distillate with cognac, created in 1880. Campari acquired the family-controlled business in 2016 for about €684 million after a long courtship of its shareholders. Using cognac rather than neutral spirit as the base is what separates it from triple sec and from Cointreau.
