About Oban
Oban is a west Highland distillery founded in 1794, around which the town was subsequently built. It has only two stills and produces a small volume, and its 14-year-old is one of Diageo's Classic Malts. The distillery is hemmed in by the town on all sides, which is why its capacity has never been expanded.
