About Bounce

Bounce introduced the dryer sheet in 1972, a coated fabric square that releases softener and anti-static agents in the heat of a tumble dryer. The format barely exists outside North America because line drying is more common elsewhere. Procter & Gamble sells it alongside Downy, its liquid fabric conditioner, covering both routes to the same result.
